Horsburgh & Scott’s engineering breadth and machining capabilities are evident in every custom gear box we supply for heavy-duty industrial applications. A custom-built gear box from Horsburgh & Scott can deliver higher torque and reliability within your space, allowing you to increase performance without costly modifications to adjacent equipment.
Whatever the application, simply provide us with the application specifications and dimensional constraints. We have the experience to understand your requirements and the knowledge to design and manufacture a custom enclosed drive that will meet and exceed your performance expectations. |
Computer-aided 3D solid modeling is used to design every inch of new custom gear boxes, from the input to the output shafts ensuring dimensional compliance to your specifications.
Our experienced engineers specify and select all aspects of your gear box including: materials, hardness, gear geometry, bearings, seals, fasteners, housing and lubrication (cooling and heating) system components.
