Horsburgh & Scott has a long history in designing, manufacturing and repairing a broad range of industrial gears. We can design and manufacture custom gears for your application or will manufacture to your print in small or large quantities. Our modern manufacturing capabilities enable us to fabricate, cut and finish gears up to 7.3 meters (287 inches) outside diameter, up to 70 module (.375 DP) and up to ISO grade 4 (American Gear Manufacturers Association quality 14).

	Helical & Double Helical Gears Horsburgh & Scott can design new, reverse engineer existing, and engineer upgrades to all specifications for all your helical gear needs. Double helical gears are an easy replacement for existing spur gears to help improve capacity.
	Internal Gears Horsburgh & Scott 's internal gears possess several advantages, including reduced sliding action and superior quality. We can internally grind internal gears to optimize the performance of your application.
	Herringbone Gears Horsburgh & Scott's herringbone gears and pinions have a balanced design that allows uniform load distribution over the shaft bearings. Our herringbone gears allows the use of identical shaft bearings and reduce the stresses on housings and covers.
	Worm Gears Horsburgh & Scott's worm gear solutions can be utilized where large gear reductions are needed in a single stage. It is common for worm gears to have reductions of 20:1, and even up to 300:1 or greater.
