Board of Directors

Lloyd G. Trotter – Chairman

Mr. Trotter is the Chairman of the Board of Horsburgh & Scott. He co-founded GenNx360 Capital Partners in 2008. GenNx360 partly owns Horsburgh & Scott. During his 40 year career with General Electric, Mr. Trotter was named Vice Chairman, President and CEO of GE Industrial, where he was responsible for a $28 billion business with nearly 80,000 employees worldwide. Prior to this role, he was Executive Vice President of Operations where he led efforts to improve operational excellence across GE’s businesses. From 2004 to 2006 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Consumer & Industrial, a role he assumed following the 2004 merger of GE’s Consumer Products, Industrial Systems, and Supply businesses.

Mr. Trotter began his GE career in 1970 as a field service engineer. He went on to hold production and technology positions in several GE businesses: Lighting, Gas, Turbine, and Appliances. He was later elected Vice President and General Manager of Manufacturing for Electrical Distribution and Control. In that role he was responsible for the entire manufacturing process and for the integration of 40 production facilities throughout the world.

Two years later, he became the business President and Chief Executive Officer, and in 1998 when it merged with GE Industrial Control Systems, he was named a GE Senior Vice President and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the newly created Industrial Systems. Mr. Trotter is also a Director at Textron, Inc. and PepsiCo and was on the board of directors for Daimler.

Randy Burdick

Mr. Burdick currently serves as President and CEO of Horsburgh & Scott. He came to the Company in 2017 to define future growth strategy and improve upon customer commitments. Mr. Burdick has more than 25 years of experience with industrial power transmission products and markets. Prior to joining the Company he served as President and COO of Brevini USA where he spear headed two record setting years of top and bottom line growth. Mr. Burdick has held a variety of technical, commercial and leadership roles with companies including Rexnord, Falk, and Prager where he successfully grew the company to a $38M dollar repair organization that generated 28% EBITDA.

Mr. Burdick holds a degree in Engineering Management from Clarkson University where he graduated in the top 5% of his class.

Mr. Burdick is a firm believer that “speed kills the competition” and “the best team wins”.

Monty Yort

Mr. Yort joined GenNx360 Capital Partners as a Managing Partner in 2009. Over the past two decades he has established himself as a successful middle market private equity investor, and has led numerous middle market acquisitions and recapitalizations totaling over $2.0 billion. Prior to joining GenNx360, he was a Managing Partner at SV Investment Partners (formerly known as Schroder Ventures US) and a Principal of Aurora Capital Group. From 1987 to 1993 he was an Associate with the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Morgan Stanley and a financial analyst for Salomon Brothers Inc. He received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
